"Great, picturesque country pub, with excellent service and tasty dishes. We stopped here after a trip to Drusilla’s for some lunch, and were warmly greeted by a charming young man, who saw us to our table and looked after us for our stay. The food was great, and the restaurant was very accommodating with our two kids. Would definitely recommend, if you’re passing or nearby!"
"Best pub I've been to this year! Me and my partner came in with 2 young puppies. The staff were so welcoming giving them bowl of water and some treats. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced, good portion sizes and good choice of beers, a really nice atmosphere, we will definitely be back! Thank you!"
"Went for lunch with a friend and had a wonderful time. Great setting, service and food. Carly was so friendly and accommodating, and our food, curried soup and risotto was of fine dining quality. I have high standards and I just can’t find fault. We were very impressed with the whole set up and left extremely happy and satisfied. I look forward to going back very soon!"
"Nice pub. Pleasant staff. Food unfortunately was not good at all. Risotto was very stodgy. Fish was so over cooked on the fish and chips ham was fatty. Waited ages to have plates cleared. So gave up and asked for bill. Went elsewhere for coffee and cake."
"Very quiet when we visited on a hot sunny day at lunchtime. Service and food was good and staff were friendly. Kids enjoyed playing in the playground"
