Reviews
"Relaxed atmosphere, TV at back, log fire at front. Good beer. Not keen on the games evening and too many tables are reserved so not always possible to drop in for a quiet pint. Sadly. This trend of "booking" a pub table is silly, in my humble opinion."
"Met two friends for drinks, lunch and a long-awaited catch up. It was quite busy but we had a table booked. Great, friendly service. An extensive menu with loads of choices. My friends had scampi & chips and the chips were delicious!! I could have made a better choice this time. I had the satay chicken & rice with prawn crackers which was very tasty with loads of chicken. However, I had thought it would have a satay sauce so was rather dry for my liking. My fault for not checking beforehand. I would definitely go again and just have something different. The burgers looked really good."
"I went to this pub to escape from a heavy rain. The staff was friendly and the the atmosphere good. I got a tea and fish and chips. The food was the worst part of my experience... I paid for it 13£ and the fish was very small and had a funny part which was inedible, the "mushy" peas looked like just defrost green peas. The chips were surely defrost too. I guess the pub might be fine for a beer but I wouldn't go back for fish and chips for sure."
