"I really love Camile but lately the portion sizes are getting smaller and smaller. Portions were never massive but I would let them away with it as the taste was great. The last few visits have been poor. Overcooked chicken with about 4 or 5 small pieces in a main course. The othertime we ordered and we got the complete wrong order. We ate it as it had taken so long to arrive. I called to mention their mistake but all I got was a sorry and then they hung up on me!! Don't think we will be ordering from here again. Will just stick to Chinese where you get decent size portions that's well cooked with good customer service"
"Ordered at 6:36pm last night and website said 20 mins for delivery. I rang after more than an hour waiting and was told pretty dismissively that they were very busy and delivery would be another 20 mins. Food arrived at 805pm, an hour after it was meant and was lukewarm at best and had to be heated up before being eaten. It was Saturday night so if they had said an hour and twenty minutes from the start then fair enough but misleading to say 20 mins when they are taking your money. Poor service."
"I have eaten in at other Camile branches before (most recently Tallaght) and had good experiences. Unfortunately not the same at the Naas branch. Firstly most tables weren’t cleaned down properly. No glasses for water, asked twice and was then given a paper take away food pot to drink from. No chopsticks available. The thing that really annoyed me was that when I asked for some soy sauce because my noodles weren’t seasoned enough for my taste, the guy tried to charge me €2. Ridiculous to try charge people this for a small plastic pot of soy. Food was fine but very oily. Not a good experience. Review edit: I followed up with customer service as suggested in the response and was put in touch with someone who apologised and rectified the above issues. Appreciate the follow up so have adjusted my score to reflect this positive customer experience."
"One of the worst takeaways I've ever had. The egg fried rice was sweet and, when we complained, we were told "that's how it's supposed to be" - why would sweet rice be served with a savoury dish....it was actually inedible. The duck was extremely fatty with very little meat - terrible value for money."
"Food was served raw. Chicken still has traces of uncooked meat. Showed it to the staff and said the chicken was cooked. Staff looks clueless and unapproachable at times."
