"I took my mum her to buy a dress for my wedding we spent £230 on a dress (the dress was overpriced) but it's nice having my mum feel lovely on my big day. Unfortunately my mum was very ill and after having an operation could not wear the dress. To quote the lady in the shop "that wasn't our fault"; correct that's not your fault but we are all humans and empathy goes a long way. So my mum couldn't travel to return the dress as she lives in Kent and couldn't call the shop as it has no direct line. The dress was in a plastic cover with receipt and original bag. Once the wedding and honeymoon was over I went in and politely asked to return the dress and I was told from a woman who stayed hidden behind a clothes rail. It's not their problem and they can't do anything. She told me to stick it on eBay and see what I get for it. The woman had a very poor attitude and I would never shop here again. She also said if I give her a bad review she would reply that it took me 3 months to return the dress. I explained why but had no interest in helping me. Any one want to buy a dress?? Side note the young girl who served us originally was lovely but the horrid one who lives in the clothes rail is awful."

"I visited Pretty Eccentric a few weeks ago for the first time, and was greeted by the loveliest girl (red hair and really bubbly), we spoke about my upcoming wedding and she helped me look around the store for accessories without being pushy to sell me anything. Also she offered to help style my dress if I wanted to bring it in to them! Which is such an incredible offer, considering I didn’t buy my wedding dress there. I will most definitely be taking her up on the offer!! I found some earrings that I fell in love with and returned a few weeks later to buy them. There were some issues with the earring fastening and the staff in the shop were so accommodating and kind, fixing the issue immediately! I’ve really never felt so valued and looked after in a shop, highly recommended this high end shopping experience."
