"I visit often with my dad. Always busy, always friendly. I love the kippers! Only small gripe is the chairs are very hard, but then it is a cafe not a restaurant. Great value for money and plenty of parking."
"The food was ok but nothing special. The ham was a cheap cut and the chips were a bit dry. The eggs were nice though (scrambled). Sadly, we won't rush to visit the again."
"Literally the only downside of this venue is owing to size and build, when there's a lot of people there (a great sign of a good local!) and/or the kitchen is busy brewing up yummy fresh coffees etc, it can get very noisy which just bounces around and makes conversation a little tricky - especially if you've got any degree of hearing loss. That being said, would absolutely return. Lovely staff, good decent portions and prices, and a lovely cuppa :)"
"After looking all over for a proper old school greasy spoon I came across this treasure. Very reasonably priced and great ingredients. Only two moans. The fried egg white needed a bit more cooking and the sauce bottles had old congealed sauce trapped in the lid"
