"I'm a serious foodie I review food regularly and want to help others make an informed decision where to eat I would firstly like to thank Raul for his excellent service and customer care A pleasure to meet you and speak with you! I started with a Surf and Turf (rare) presented nicely but I couldn't eat the first bite from the steak, Raul saw me struggling and promptly returned the meal to the kitchen I then asked for advice and ordered the Salmon with teriyaki sauce and salad The skin had been crisped up but to the detriment of over cooking the salmon Presented skin up to disguise the very dry meat and a generous portion of teriyaki sauce undoing the crisped skin... Perhaps it's just bad luck or too many seats ordering at the same time? Not worth in excess of 30€ Sorry I won't be returning"
"Lovely restaurant in castleknock hotel. Food was delicious and the waiter was really attentive and friendly. The restaurant was spacious and the decorations were lovely too. The decor was Halloween themed and looked fab. Fresh flowers. A relaxing ambiance. Really enjoyed our visit and will be revisiting again."
"Absolutely shocking food. I've never experienced bad steak before at a restaurant. The bread which was used for my steak sandwich was stale and extremely chewy while the chips were also stale. The steak itself was well overdone and dry. It was not edible. Won't be back!"
"Second time here - cannot recommend it. Service was impatient and not friendly. The food was mixed - Pizzas were good as well as the curry. The steak was a disaster. Never had such a bad steak in Ireland before. The prices were too high for the quality of food. The bar and dining area is quite nice and spacious. I wouldn't come here again."
