Reviews
"Friendly and helpful staff. Good range of items in stock."
"Not the most friendly staff"
"My biggest issue is the pricing! Prices on shelves aren't matching prices at the till! £0.30 isn't a lot of money; but if you shop there everyday it adds up, doesn't it? Handy local shop if you need something "urgently""
"Very poor signage to advise public that face coverings are now mandatory by law in all public spaces. Sign is hidden away and I saw three people without any face covering on when I was there today. Didn't feel safe. Very poor indeed. Staff can by law ask people to wear one and to leave if they don't. Only children under 13 and medically exempt don't have to."
"Total lack of management during the Covid crisis. If they can't cope why not close like a lot of outlets? Spent half an hour there today on a trip that would usually take me 10 minutes door to door. 20 y/o on the door monitoring shoppers. 1 till open with another a 20 y/o trying to serve everyone. One older guy stocking the beer shelves, seemingly oblivious. Long line for the till. Shop empty! Why? Because all customers are queued up around the corner waiting for the boy on the door to let them in. He can't go any faster because there is only 1 till in operation and everyone is waiting for it! Peak times? Is that code for 'we can't be bothered'? Yes, Tesco is pretty stressful but you will find better service there than in Russells, usually a good store but lacking in management during Covid if what I witnessed today is any indication. Go elsewhere until the crisis passes."
