"Beautiful scenery, my 12 year old son and I had a 5k jog along the embankment in the evening and it was lovely, peaceful atmosphere and serenely quiet we'll definitely be back."
"The Lagan Path renewed in 2021 and they did a great job by connecting the Stranmillis area with the other side of the city from behind. It is also a beautiful area for walks and to enjoy nature, birdsong, different kind of plants and river wild life. Just wish more people would respect this little paradise, not leave litter , destroy benches. It's a shared space for all. No charge in but needs to be protected and looked after. Note : The Lagan Towpath takes the walker along the river and canal system through a variety of wetland, riverside meadows and mixed woodland from Belfast to Lisburn."
"Beautiful place to walk with lots of dufferent paths going here and there. You can stick to the tarmac path or head througb the forests.."
"It's a majestic place right on the doorstep for a lot of people, great for paddle boarding or taking a kayak. It's calm and picturesque."
