"Very disappointed. Went into the Billericay shop yesterday and ordered two bouquets for today. Two very good friends celebrating their 50th’s tonight and no delivery and not even a phone call to apologise. So gonna have to find another present for them at the last minute. Disgusting service!"
"great service every time. usually send flowers to my mum, who is always delighted by their choices and the amount in the bouquets."
"What a wonderful service from Bob and his wife. I ordered flowers for my friends birthday not knowing they were away for the week. They called me after trying to deliver them and when I found out about them being away, they have said they will make a fresh arrangement to take when they are back. I will recommend them to everyone and will always use them in the future. So good to find a business with this level of customer service."
"This florist really doesn’t care that they provide substandard flowers... ones which wilt and die within a week of delivery... and has appalling Customer Service. I have a family member who ALWAYS orders flowers from this business when they come and stay with us from overseas (as a “Thank you”) ...the flowers always wilt or die within a week. The last time this happened (last summer) I called the florist and the lady told me that “it must be where you’ve placed the flowers”... she just didn’t care. The most recent time this happened (week before last), the flowers wilted & died within 4 days. The same woman I spoke to was rude, telling me “I’ve been a florist for ?? number of years....” and “you must know not to place orchids next to a window”.... and “what do you want me to do about it?”......I told her that I followed the care instructions (which were generic about the water and flower food but not specific to the flowers that had been delivered).....and that I have also successfully looked after orchids at home.... so I suggested she replace the orchid....she didn’t want to.... she told me she was “busy with Valentines orders.....and would replace the orchid when she has time...”. Roll on 10 days (and without any communication from Fleur de Leys), I come home tonight (Saturday) at 7pm to a small/sorry bunch of lillies and carnations in creased (used?) flower paper propped up against my front door with a pizza delivery note stating “as promised to replace orchid”.... no apology for what had occurred..., and this was NOT AS PROMISED! She has obviously finished her Valentines orders and given what leftover flowers she had to me as a “replacement” for the similarly poor quality flowers she delivered the previous week.... We love to suppprt our local businesses, but I will no longer support this one. Needless to say, she will be losing customers. Do not waste your money on this business. Go and buy supermarket flowers instead (which the woman compares herself to anyway when talking about her flowers dying).... they will last much longer and look much better!"
