"Ladies are lovely but repairs take forever! Only needed a claw repair on a ring, went in for a estimate and was told the guy who does the repairs isn't in, is really busy so won't get round till at least a few days after but to leave the ring with them, and they'll call me when he's looked at it. I said ok, ended up calling the following week, the lady spoke to the guy whilst I was on the phone, he said it'll be a few weeks!!! Just for a quote!!!! Quite a confusing way to do things it seems but I ended up taking the ring back with the work undone. Rather take it somewhere else I can't even comment on price comparison because I don't know what it would have been but other places are speedy with a quote same day"

"Took a necklace in for repairs. Wanted to wear it to a wedding. I allowed three weeks before the event thinking this would be plenty of time. They said this was short notice but wrote on the envelope the date I needed it back for. I called a few days before I needed to leave only to be told that the repairers had gone on holiday. Was not returned until after the wedding. Very poor service."
