"Been coming here since it was the Farwig pub . Old staff was brilliant. Alison was so helpful . Not see her for a while . Bakery section never out , prices have gone a lot higher than other places . Staff are abit rued . Had a manager be rued to my mum few months ago ( heard he got the sack ) .. the new Indian manager is useless . Maybe just close down and put the pub back"
"Always happy to visit that shop. Very convenient and close to me. Xx"
"One of the worst shops around this area. They never have anything with an excuse of "we didnt get the delivery yet" every single day. Staff is rude and male cashier always comment if any female is buying anything. Go tesco down the road, or Sainsburys you will have way better shopping experience."
"Systems for handling help for household pay point coupons has been claimed to be broken since the program has started. "Check in again tomorrow" said every day. I don't personally believe it. Aside from that, store is more or less fine, good location to stop at during my runs and stocked properly. tends to be understaffed on checkout, and some safety concerns after seeing a cooler unit had pooled water at the bottom near electronics and was arcing. Unless you need paypoint services, there's a tesco express 2 minutes further down that road that's slightly larger and better quality from my experience. I'd encourage going there instead."
"I arrived at 10:03pm to find a staff member closing the shop. I got her attention (she was just having a phone call on her personal phone) to ask if their closing times had changed. She confirmed they had, and that these are the supposed reasons: - "for COVID reasons" - Shoplifters (??) - That it was just this store and that hours hadn't been updated online since COVID due to "technical reasons", to which I replied "what, for over 2 years?" - That they couldn't even serve me past a certain time (it was 57 minutes before closing time) When I drove out of there, all I could see was her standing around on her phone again at the tills. Other users have experienced the same thing and it meant I had to spend 20 minutes driving to another shop, rather than just shop at a store that is meant to be open."
