"It's the biggest food store in Woodford. It carries a wide range of items, although the meat and bread section can be light on occasion. While it's branded as a Co-Op on the outside, it supposedly operates under an offshoot of it. So the Co-Op app offers don't work with your membership card and they don't take AMEX. The prices also vary widely. While a lot are reasonable, some prices are a lot higher than other places."
"Don't accept the co-op 10% student discount from totum. Despite the offer on the website directly linking to store finder, this was the closest store so I went, got to the till and I had no idea"
"Local and supports the community. Good broad selection of foods included baked in store produce. Stocks 'Cook' foods as an added bonus if you really do not fancy cooking at it's later in the evening. Yes sometimes there are queue's - however supports the local community; food banks and respects Sunday trading laws."
"Why don’t they take covid 19 security seriously and put the screens between sales assistant and customer? They have put them in front of the till in a space that isn’t used. Not going in here again as didn’t feel safe!"
"Store is a good size with decent produce, but staff aren't polite especially some of the ladies on the checkout. I tried to use a student discount card and was told "this co-op isn't a proper co-op" and no further explanation. Not sure what that even means to be honest but that just adds to the impolite staff really. It does have a few free parking spaces in good walking distance which do come in handy."
