"Absolutely terrible customer service! Employees left early on Boxing day! I ordered an item from the argos! Got a email to tell me to come into store and pick it up! I checked if the store was going to be open and it was meant to be! After driving for 2 hours to get to the store to pick up my items, the argos had no staff! The Sainsburys staff told me that they had gone home early! Do not order from here! Worst Argos"
"Terrible customer service.Went to return a duvet set that was the incorrect colour. Met with disdain immediately from representatives at the counter. Told it couldn’t be accepted as it wasn’t in the condition it was received in (yet it was) by a spectacled character. For context, was there 15 mins before close (ADHD) - but no need for an unfriendly experience."
"Bought a faulty phone that is literally taking 30min to do simple tasks they didn't wanted to exchange it despite it was same day purchase. Both managers Khalil and Ivone are so negative people."
"the worst customer service. today I brought my TV that I bought 2 years ago and which stopped working 1month after the legal warranty of 2 years. the manager Iwana snubbed me, rejected me with a superior behaviour without bothering to write down my information, she refused to process my request. and preferred to cash in other customers who were not there for a return but to buy. I did everything to make her understand that according to the law, the warranty is 2 years and not 1 year. and then even if it was no longer under warranty, the defect of the TV which is a Philips is a defect known to all ( Google flickering/ black screen)which is a planned obsolescence. she didn't want to know. I understood that she did not want to serve me not because the product was supposedly out of warranty but only because she does not like to process returns. to prove to myself I then bring back a blender that I bought 3 months ago and which is stopped working after 1.5month . not believing me she wanted to test it. the scene was getting ridiculous. she didn't know how to make it work and was going to break it even more than it was. instead of asking me for help, she preferred to do it her way. I said then that what she is trying to do is stupid. she then called the manager of Sainsbury's and told him that I called her stupid which I didn't( she is not stupid, but what she was trying to do was completely stupid) she made every excuse to not serve me whether the product is under warranty or out of warranty. either this lady is racist or she does not like to process customer returns and prefers purchases. I bought about ten products from argos in 2021, never had any issues because never needed to make a return. when it comes to returns you can expect the worst. I will never buy from argos again. I do not recommend it. arrogant person and no help when you need it. strongly avoid. you might as well buy from Amazon if no customer service is provided."
"I brought a ps4 headset from sainsbury crystal they gave me a used headset that someone returned and it was damaged. I tried to get a replacement the manager he refused and accused me of breaking the item i would recommend not to buy from this argos as the manager is rude and doesnt seem bothered about his job. Shows no interest yawns while your explaining your issue."
