"Not as great as advertised. As a positive: The staff themselves and the communication beforehand was both fine. They turned up on time, when they said they would and left at the agreed time. Less positively: The staff left broken glass on the floor during the event and turned up without any bottle openers. They then didn't serve part of the stock bought, didn't use the garnish for the gin & tonics, and didn't bring the gazebo (as agreed in advance). The staff who set up seemed unaware that the bar had previously been dropped off (as were we, no communication on this). They also (despite being asked if they had everything they needed), waited until 30 minutes before the event to ask for ice (having used all the ice to cool drinks that didn't require it). Less importantly, they also made a mess of the toast (no communication between the bar staff). Overall, while our guests didn't seem to notice the impact, this wasn't the low stress option planned. We wouldn't recommend using Rhubarbar, which is a shame given their reputation."

I opted for the cocktail package which was brilliant; With a good selection of different cocktails. "Rhubarb Events provided the bar for my at home wedding in Nottingham in 2021 and they were brilliant! Great prices (not extortionate like some other mobile bar companies), lovely people, amazing cocktails that had people raving for days afterwards, professional communication and reliable service. They came before hand to plan and scope the location and offered a number of packages (we went for a cash bar that we settled up the following day) and decor options. They provided a few options for cocktails and mocktails based upon the vibe for the night and we were offered a personalised selection of welcome drinks which was perfect. They added all the fun stuff such as edible glitter and candy floss and even bought sweets for the kids which was a lovely touch! The bar itself was sturdy and well stocked with everything you could possibly want. They arrived on time and packed away when they said they would, coming the following day to collect the bar as not to disturb the last part of the party. The service provided was astounding, there was never a dirty glass around and lots of people commented on how nice the guys on the bar were. We wouldn’t hesitate to use Rhubarb for future events and would definitely recommend."

"They cancelled one day before my event! There was just a mere email to tell me that a staff had contracted covid-19, they could not even give me a phone call to inform me. We've been dealing with each other through phone calls so was expected and had I not checked my emails I would not even know they was not going to show up. They are now claiming to keep my money for 30 days! This is atrocious as I had one day to find a replacement paying even more as there was such short notice of one day! Now they have the audacity to hold my money for such a long period of time. It's unacceptable they should refund me straight away, there is no excuse. Do not use there service. They are UNRELIABLE, UNPROFESSIONAL and are MONEY-THIEVING. So please be warned..."

"I recently attended a hen party which Charlie set up at a friends home and it was amazing, he’s a really funny friendly guy that made the most amazing cocktails. Really enjoyed it, would really highly recommend. Great experience for us"
