"The Fisherman's Reading Room was once just that, where local fishermen would gather, play billiards and swing the lamp. Today, thanks to a group of residents and volunteers, the Reading Room has been brightly refurbished to create a real community hub and is used for all types of functions; lunches, teas, group meetings, barbecues, yoga, outdoor school, sing-a-longs, history displays, to name but a few. It is a wonderful and a special place to all."
