"Opening night for the D&D movie, Friday, end of the Spring term and the first day of the Easter holidays, and yet the cinema WASN'T full of annoying kids misbehaving, talking, lighting up the auditorium with their constant craving for their mobiles, kicking the back of your seat. Makes a nice change. The only people in were a few of us adults, not ashamed of their geekhood, who came to watch a great movie in raptured silence, attention gripped. Maybe this is the upside of yoof's obsession with social media... they lack the attention span needed to sit through a movie in the cinema, unable to pause it or half-watch it while WhatsApping... Cinema has returned to the film buff! For is it not written that the geek shall inherit the earth?"
"Lovely new cinema..very comfortable, lots of leg room. Friendly staff. Pick and mix sweets..what more do you need!"
"A very good Cinema which has been built within the last year. Although I have only been to Screen 1 (there are three Screens) so far, the seating was good for viewing the film and the seats are comfortable. There is a variety of sweets as well as popcorn available in the foyer. The staff are friendly and helpful. Being next to a car park means there are no car parking problems either. All together the experience was very pleasant and I certainly intend to go again, especially as they have a good choice and a wide variety of films that are shown."
"Been open 18 months or so in a new location but near the previous cinema. Very new Very clean Very comfortable with 3 screens. The prices are very good too. With discounts for older people and kids. Also membership cards offering further savings.Large car park behind the cinema too. The screen quality was first class too. Well worth a visit."
"Despite the huge investment and new location the cinema is still hugely disappointing, the restaurant is still underway, the popcorn was stail, the staff were very unwelcoming and seemed like they couldn't be bothered. More deals on snacks and drinks would be nice too. Not to mention the poor choice of films. We were 2 of 4 people who were watching the film, I can't see how that's cost effective. When you are competing with Netflix, Disney+ etc you really have to make it more of an exciting option"
