"Excellent site with small children's play area. Pet friendly but no dog walk. Very helpful staff. Very clean facilities. Cheaper rates for members. Small camping essentials shop on site. Within 120 paces of village pub with good pub food and rear garden opposite long hours petrol station and well stocked Spar shop."
"Lovey campsite. A bit in the middle of now where so need to drive. Friendly staff. Very clean shower/toiletblocks. We have 3 dogs and found there was nowhere really to walk the dogs, but outside on the road. The staff were happy for you to walk round the site and clean as you go. We were not really happy doing this as the site was getting fuller and let's face it you would not like someone's dog doing its business by your tent or van. We won't be going again personally, but would recommend it if you didn't have dogs or a motorhome. Clean and well kept site."
"Very well kept site with friendly staff. Karen is very helpful. A nice quiet site, facilities are very clean. There is a Spar shop and pub just around the corner, so very convenient."
"We rocked up at California Cross, pre-booked for three nights, as novices in our campervan. We soon discovered that we were short of a couple of essentials. The duty staff were so helpful. Loaned us a long hook-up lead, supplied some rock pegs and loaned a large hammer. Saved the day and we really enjoyed our stay at this well managed and pleasant site."
