"Lovely welcome. Room facilities and comfort were very good. Swimming pool and spa area was excellent and so clean. Dinner and breakfast were both superb. Thank you to all the team for a fantastic stay"
"The price and quality was not matching, Golf facilities looked nice, maybe due to off season not been looked after much. Given that the place is quite remote and about 4/5 miles away from any food place, last serving of dinner was too early in the evening. I believe that should have been extended for the guests! Also not much food was on offer, wasted opportunity I believe. The rooms were moderate, but the TV in the room was too old. And remotes were out of battery. Floorboards were very noisy which made our first impression quite meh... All staff interaction was positive, however last order time effected my service point. I feel like I paid on season price for a 5 star hotel, but have been offered off season 3 star experience."
"We stayed in a timeshare cottage here, which, like the whole complex was showing its age. Pros: the food offering was good; the staff were generally friendly and helpful. Cons: all the indoor facilities (swimming pool, gym, bar and restaurants) were accessed down a flight of stairs. The lift was long term out of commission because, we were told, its age made getting parts difficult. My wife has mobility problems which meant the stairs were a huge hurdle to negotiate. We gave up after finding the swimming pool changing rooms were on upgrade and the inadequate temporary offering was a long, cold trek away. A few of the many hiccups with the cottage: a bedroom window latch was broken allowing egress of rain and wind; the bathroom ceiling was growing mould; the gutter overflowed and bucketted rain across the bedroom patio doors; one of the living room radiators was unuseable since it was missing a control knob; the TV had huge pixelation problems rendering it unuseable. We sought correction of a couple of problems, were promised action, but nothing happened. We left a day early after paying the £52 electricity bill."
"Great nights sleep, clearly the golf facilities are outstanding but unfortunately for us we found the staff a little bit fed up Must be the time of year. Food average and over priced £7 for a breakfast roll!!"
"Stayed for one night as attending a wedding elsewhere, pool and Spa good. Breakfast was lovely however was very slow for buffet items to be replaced! Not a golfer but was very busy with golfers."
