"Couldn’t thank the staff enough for all that they done for me especially Claire Samantha Ruth Michelle Daniel lisa Maria Maria Sheehan Katie all supportive and understanding best manger alister and great deputy Emma"
"I couldn’t fault some of the people who worked there. Some very nice people working under difficult circumstances. Taking care of damaged children from broken homes is a commendable thing to do. Neglectful and narcissistic parenting cause untold misery and harm to the world. God bless all who work and reside here."
"Seen a few reviews about Lakewood I was there when I was 17 for like 6 months and before I got out I was just about 18 I’m now 20 with a beautiful 4 month year old daughter. This place put my life back together, now I look back I want to go back it’s so organised, staff are amazing and good to talk to but if you are messing or disrespectful there will be discipline by being locked in your room for one day but still get all your meals etc or will not get your visiting times to go out and also pocket money could be abducted. I just want to show my appreciation to the school and the staff in my unit use where amazing keep up the great work use absolutely changed me in ways I thought that anyone couldn’t ❤️"
"My brother and I were in Lakewood intensive support unit back in 2004, staff were an absolute disgrace and the things me and my brother witnessed will haunt us forever { there needs to be action taken to make sure no other children have to go through what my brother and I went through. As I wish it upon no child. Please be wary parents. I hope things have changed but I find that very doubtful. There needs to be an independent review into what happened in the early to mid 2000's and even before that."
