"worst service we been had, weve got continues bleeding from a wound in they only had to dois patch her up, they dont have anything to do to close it up. waste of money that they deduct us for our taxes and insurance. MF lack of skills department cant even refer urgent"
"Was there for 7 hours, the receptionists were extremely rude, they talk back and give dirty looks and felt like I was deliberately ignored twice. This is extremely unprofessional especially in an environment where you need help. It’s a shame because the doctor was lovely and very helpful. It felt as if it could have been because we were students that it was acceptable to speak to us like that and I am still in shock on their behaviour and I’m suprised nothing has been done about it."
"Worst A&E I have ever been to. This is where asthmatic people are told to wait in a cold A&E and wear a face mask with an active asthma attack. Staff had 0 compassion and did not seem to be concerned. After waiting 4 hours in A&E, in the early hours of the morning, I was struggling to breathe and had no inhalers. I went to the receptionist and tried to let her know I was getting worse, I could hardly walk or get any words out, which was very evident. In my condition, she continued to give me long directions to go and find a nurse on my own (she couldn’t be bothered) She did not care that I was telling her I am getting worse, she told me I had to wait 2 more hours as per the policy. At this point, I did not want to die in A&E and decided to leave. The next day my gp provided emergency care and yet again an ambulance was called and I was taken back to QMC, only to be told that I had pneumonia. The waiting periods are atrocious, elderly patients getting ignored in bays, ignorant staff that rather sit on their phones than actually help others."
"Waited 6 hours and still wasn't seen children's emergency department is a disgrace, they definitely make you wait so so parents just end up leaving , if GP's wouldn't be off for 4 days im sure emergency room wouldn't be this busy there was another 2/3 h wait just to be seen 1st time.goverment needs to do something its not right. Little babies with scarlet fever just waiting hours and hours.111 service twice didn't get back to me hens why I went to ane.system is shocking."
"Zero stars if possible. It is not the fault of doctors, nurses and medical staff at all but the whole administration is so poor. My 8 days old baby and his covid stricken mother are waiting for 7 hours without food and proper guidance. If this hospital is so busy then someone needs to make sure that they have adequate staff. It is a hopeless situation."
