"The movie I went to see was 2 hours 49 minutes long. I went to the 3pm sitting due to the movie length. I took a recliner seat for more comfort. I'm glad I did. The cinema itself was not warm enough for me. I didn't ask why, I doubt in the 3 hours I was in the cinema it would have made a difference if the heating was turned on if I had asked. I used my coat over my legs to keep me warm. Popcorn and Coke was as it should have been. I booked online which was easy enough. QR code gets you in and your food, which was not immediately obvious. Overall enjoyable."
"Mistakenly booked to see Avatar in the Maxx without realising it was not a 3D showing. The listing did not have a 2D label and I only realised when I got my email that it was 2D. Checked again and the 3D showing was below the not labelled 2D one, and it and it was labelled (3D). It was an honest mistake and I think the listing wasn't clear. Called customer service for a refund but they refused to give one because I didn't purchase a flexi ticket. I've been going here for years but won't be back. Just as handy for me to go to Cineworld at the Odyssey where I can also get free parking."
"I recently had the pleasure of visiting the Omniplex cinema and was blown away by the overall experience. Prior to this, I had always been a fan of Vue Cinemas in England and thought they were the best around. However, after experiencing Omniplex, my mind has been changed. The prices were extremely affordable, which was a pleasant surprise given the high-quality of the amenities. The Maxx screen was the largest and clearest I have ever seen, and the seats were incredibly comfortable. The audio was outstanding, fully immersing me in the movie and making it feel like I was right there on the big screen while watching "Avatar: The way of Water." I was also impressed by the cleanliness of the theatre and the friendly staff. Overall, I highly recommend this cinema to anyone looking for an exceptional movie-watching experience at an unbeatable price."
"Just back from omniplex dundonald. Went with my wife & grandchildren to see "the amazing maurice ". Film was really good quality cartoon. The cinema was lovely & warm, the seating was so comfortable I had a 5 minute doze. Lovely afternoon out . Staff were friendly and helpful with our tickets. Look forward to returning soon Stephen"
"Normally a very comfortable cinema but this time the heat was sweltering (then cold when turned off) and the music from a much more action-packed film next door was clearly audible (we were watching quite a tranquil film). This was in Screen 10. Also, why no concession rate for over-65s, as my companion was?"
