"Disappointing. I received a helpful and friendly service inside the store who quoted me for the timber I required. I explained I needed the pieces cut to certain sizes and was told this shouldn't be a problem. I went out to the yard as instructed and after a lot of waiting around a man appeared. I showed him the invoice and explained I needed it cut to certain sizes. He told me they don't do that, he'll cut it to fit in my car only, "because if it's cut wrong, well" ...... before pulling a face. I left and ended up paying quite a bit more to go elsewhere which was not good. The website says "The branch is home to a Timber Mill with cutting and milling facilities available to produce cuts and sheets to your requirements.". So which is it Jewsons? Please be clear and fair to your customers."
"Artic delivery: the yard has plenty of room to turn, but the approach roads are narrow and there is very little parking spaces. Do not arrive before 07:30hrs, as you will most likely block the road. Staff are pleasant and reasonably quick unloading."
