Reviews
"Unfortunately this hasn't been maintained very well. No water in the water features and they weren't working. We had fun but for £8 adult ticket I think the course could be looked after better."
"Had a great time with my 6 year old Grandson. The young lady on the counter was really welcoming. Also had a fabulous lunch in the clubhouse and the staff were excellent"
"My 6 year old Son had his Birthday party at Mr Mulligan’s Pirate Golf. He had a lovely time with his friends, they enjoyed crazy golf then inside for Pizza & Chips."
"What initially seems like a nice site based on previously uploaded photo's, is as of now what can only be described as tired and a shell of what it likely was when new. Environment Most of the pirate themed features/objects look wholly underwhelming, like they're no longer bothered about maintaining them. Most needed a re-paint, and some of the pirate statues were even broken (sword missing, hand missing). The water looked dank and no longer blue and not as full around the waterfall as seen in previous photo's, which made it look a whole lot better. Another thing on maintenance was how most of the holes weren't clean, with various bits of plants/leaves scattered around. I understand that it's fine for the odd bit here and there, but as you'll see from our photos how unclean it currently is. Holes Most of the holes here are a joke. It seems like some were literally there just to classify the site as an 18 hole site. Hole number 4 for example is hilarious (see photos), zero pirate theme and is nothing but a straight shot. To top it off, including and especially hole 4, most are described as par 3, yet actually they're more like par 2 with how basic they are. Overall we'd say there's perhaps 4 holes that were appropriately themed and somewhat are engaging, giving crazy/mini golf its name. Even with some decent holes, it's more like a 9 hole site than 18. On the day As for when we visited (Saturday) it was quite busy and felt quite cramped, even though they only do pre-booking. Not sure if that's a negative of how the booking is handled, or just that the site itself is overall quite small. This is likely exaggerated by how lacklustre most of the holes are, making them too easy and unchallenging - even for kids. Summary Overall, it's a small site that is wholly unmaintained. Even if well-kept, the design and layout of the holes just isn't exciting, and there are better sites in Nottingham."
