Reviews
"It was exactly what it advertised and it suited my needs perfectly. Friendly helpful staff. Clean. Quiet room. 3rd time I've stayed here and I hope it won't be the last. It is great for me to meet up with old friends with no hassle. I'm becoming a regular casual visitor. Just a shame there is nowhere local to get breakfast between there and the bus station before heading back. Not a Travelodge problem I hasten to add."
"Accommodations were OK for a quick stay, but I would not recommend it for more than 3 nights. There is no dedicated closet space. The section dedicated to hanging clothing is directly over the head of the single bed, making it useless. Staff were friendly and accommodating. The location was perfect for my needs."
"Rooms vary in noise pollution. Some are really nice and quiet, in others AC is making A LOT of noise. Despite being turn on or off. Overall 7/10. Great staff, great localisation. Comfy beds. Hot shower, etc."
"No way can anyone disabled mentally or physically, be dropped off with their luggage to enter the building. We had to temporarily park round the corner in fear of a massive ticket fine, to get a bag that had some of the things I needed in the room. I didn't have a chance to find my tooth brush or paste. Being autistic and tired I had a meltdown at my husband and unsavoury looking youths walked past me as I was suffering ocd. My husband also in an emotional state as the area at night is threatening aswell as unknown to our experience. As we entered we argued loudly. Then the receptionist told us to be quiet. My husband explained after apologising. She did her job but didn't accept apologies. He apologised once more but she continued to look blankly through him. He never took it out on her that the place was badly located. The staff need to know people have issues and are not necessarily bad. We had no cafe to go to or canteen in the hotel. We had no chance to eat that day as we are carers for my dad, who is surviving covid and we had no time to eat and prepare everything else for the journey and feed dad. I had an orange and a sandwich on me. That was the days food. A loud engine kept me awake all night stopping me from dropping off to sleep. Maybe it was the boiler. Deafening. Alarming. I left my water in the car which was eventually parked in the multistorey car park.i hate multistorey car parks in day light, but felt I was about to be mugged at night. I didn't like leaving all the presents and packing at Christmas in the mscp. The place is new so it was not expected to be a badly located building. No seating in the foyer. Coldness from receptionist. No training of or understanding of medical neurological disadvantages. A loud boiler motor waking us up abruptly everytime we almost fell asleep. No parking not even to drop off luggage. No food or drink or cafeteria. I won't use the kettle upstairs because of the stories I hear sometimes about people peeing in hotel kettles. We couldn't wait to escape."
