"I had a colour consultation with Emma, my hair has been home dyed over the years and has become too dark, Emma was lovely and recommended a toner, foils, and an all over colour plus a cut and blow dry, costing £154, it took over 3 weeks to get the appointment with her to have this done. The day arrived and I was excited, I was in the salon over 4 hours, the back of the salon is quite dark, but my hair looked Gorgs! Loved the colour and cut made my hair look fresher, more movement. Over the next day or so I realised in daylight my hair was orange, with highlights of yellow and pink. I contacted the salon they were helpful and said call in ASAP and they would help, I called in and Nicholas said it had lightened up what colour did I want it, when I explained he asked when I could call again, so I said anytime on the Friday ( 2 days later ) he said 0945, I arrived, Nicholas talked me through the ash dark brown he would need to put on it to conquer the orange tones my hair had turned, I said I didn’t want to just end up same colour I’d arrived previous week, he said I wouldn’t, then a junior member of staff washed my hair and rinsed through a dark ash colour at the sink and massaged continually at the sink ( particularly my scalp - once noticed Nicholas told her not to rub the colour into my scalp ) then took me back to the mirrors - where I saw I was back to dark brown ( same colour I arrived the previous week ) a junior was to blowdry my hair, she spent more time trying to find hair clips, she’d clip, they’d fall out, then she clipped so my wet hair was hanging down my face, the blowdry took ages as she sectioned tiny areas, and clipped each time after drying a tiny section. Once dry Nicholas came over said that’s better now, I said it’s just back to how I came in, he said a few shades lighter, so I spent 6 hours £154, 4 trips from bangor to belfast to get a shade or so lighter, when actually I’d asked for light brown with golden tones, I have no highlights and at the end he said this will wash out it’s not permanent. Customers in the salon could over hear, and I found the whole appointment frustrating and was so angry, it was clear I was not happy with the outcome. I emailed the salon the following day to find out when I get the light brown permanent colour with highlights that I’ve paid for, but no one has replied, I also messaged through Instagram to advise of the email, no reply, I then noticed they blocked me on Instagram- not a very professional attitude. I’m shocked at the lack of customer care, I’ve paid a lot of money and spent time trying to get the colour Emma advised that was possible only to now have a semi permanent ash dark brown. I think for a new customer the service has been terrible but I understand people can make mistakes, what counts is how mistakes are handled, and fix the bad experience, in my case there has been poor customer service and the colour I was promised is not what was provided, so mis-sold, I’ve not been offered a refund or given an appointment for the highlights I paid for or the permanent colour, or an apology for such a bad experience. What was a treat, should have been a great experience- a new look, has been far from a treat, stressful and upsetting, plus a waste of cash, cash which I will now need to further spend to fix the mess Nicholas Graham salon has left. Ridiculous poor service. Glenda"
