"Required help finishing my suspension fit and they assisted and got me all done very quickly, then had the rear brake seize amazing customer service and help from the team once again very quick turn around and got my girl back to me all sorted. New to the T5 world will be using this company every time from now on."
"Colebrook tried to rip my friend off or Not? Your decision!!! EDIT: I read their reply and if somebody from Colebrook asked me the repair options £80 or £700, I would remember it. Why would i go other garage if they said £80. They never ever mention the cheap option. They only asked me to pay £700 or £1500 for repair. Thanks God, I found another garage to fix it for £80. '' In a nutshell: They failed my car’s MOT due to a tiny rust hole (fair enough) and demanded £700 for welding and £800 to change a fully functional axle. The failure is ok but They quoted £1500 to repair my car. Here it is a Surprise!! It was repaired for £80 by another garage!! £700 Colebrook vs £80 another garage? First of all, I booked my MOT with Colebrook garage and they mentioned that I should leave the car 30 minutes before the actual MOT time. I asked the reason and they mentioned that the car should be driven by them before MOT (I never heard such a thing before) and then they took it to MOT. It was their first suspicious move because they do not do MOTs, they take your car to a different place to do MOT for them. They mentioned it is £40 but after 3 hours of MOT time, they ringed me back and said they were extremely sorry, my car failed and it was a really serious issue and I should come and we should talk our options. I arrived there and Marcus (he said that he is one of the bosses of that garage) made a really long and persuasive speech about the bad condition of the car and he mentioned that the car needs an inspection by them. They charged £25 for MOT and £35 for just taking the pictures of the rusty part while the car is still on the pavement. Those happens in a week. Then, they offered me to weld the little rusty hole for at least £700 and they mentioned that the car’s axle should be changed as soon as possible and it is around £800. Furthermore, he offered to do the welding at overtime period each day and that could be discounted £500 just for me. When I asked why he is doing that favour to me for a lower price and he said it is not important and the important part is to give my car in a good condition. Money does not matter!! I can't believe that I trust them. Anyway, I asked another garage for a second opinion and they quoted £80 to repair it. I can’t believe that!!! £700 vs £80 for the same repair work. They always say they are very busy with other works and they are doing a big favour to us before our MOT date expired. They are always in a rush to make you give a quick decision. Be careful with Marcus who is doing the fancy speech and all quotations. My only advice to you is that if you want to use that garage’s services, always get a second opinion/quotation from another garage. '' EDIT-2: I copied two reviews from their MOT place '' Marshall Motors SW 26 Valley Road''. 1st from Roy Pike : '' Unless your car's brand new Don't get it MOTED there'' 2nd Totnes Quaker Bookings: '' I took my Audi TT for a MOT at this garage last Wednesday and was told that it had failed on a couple of things. One being the headlights not displaying a correct pattern. They said I needed new headlights and gave me a quote of £1,700 to replace them. The car is only worth £2.000 at most so I refused and took it to my local mechanic who said he could get compatible headlights for £200 but when he tested them he told me they were acceptable and we took it to another MOT garage where it passed the MOT. £20 wasted at Marshall's''"
"Very friendly and competent garage, highly recommended! As usually car problems strike you always in vacation: Our Renault Trafic Campervan had starting problems. But the extremely friendly and competent Team from Colebrook CSC helped us the same day and had us up and running again in no time, while other garages turned us down and only had service appointments available weeks later. This really saved our roadtrip through south England and these many lovely landscapes. So a thousand thanks for the great work to Marcus and his colleagues and best regards from Austria and Italy."
"Colebrook Transporters are simply the best garage I have ever used in 30+ years of car / van ownership and it's only when I moved from the area that I appreciated just how good they were. For many years they looked after my 2003 T4 servicing, fixing and upgrading as needed, several times saving planned trips when something went wrong at the last minute and they without fail, stepped up to save our bacon. Rob and his team were always professional, helpful and often did that little bit extra needed to keep an older van on the road. Today they have helped me out remotely, I am 1500km away and they still supplied me with information to get my van back on the road. I wish they would all move nearer to my new home in Sweden, they would make a fortune here!"
