"Hard to find anything I didn't like about John Coles Park. Very well kept, lovely for walking dogs. A great play park for children including water play area. A smashing little cafe with picnic tables and big sun umbrellas to sit under on a hot day. Reasonable prices too. There is a bandstand, decorated all round the outside with hanging baskets full of flowers. It's so pretty that when I was there a bride and groom came with their photographer and took their wedding photos. Highly recommended."
"Lovely park, used by generations! Includes the rocking horse that my parents, myself and now my kids play with. Updated over the years with some great equipment. Also a lovely place for a picnic with large swathes of grassy areas to explore. Suitable for dog walking in the top half which has a large path to follow. Bandstand hosts some great music on Sundays."
"Has open space but doesn't just feel like a field. Has a dog walking area, splash pad. Pretty big kids play area. Cafe. Basket ball courts and and i think tennis courts. A band stand that has a band play in it on Sundays in summer I believe. Perfect park, one of the best local parks I've been to always a great place to be on a sunny day."
