"Perfect place for a family get together. Booked afternoon tea for my family and we're warmly welcomed by all the staff. The afternoon tea was fairly priced and tasted great. Lovely coffee too! Will be back"
"For what should have been a lovely occasion celebrating a baby shower this was sadly tainted negatively by the awful service received. Staff members were not helpful and presented as rude, from unwelcoming arrival to packing away whilst the room was still within it’s hired period. Also the afternoon tea was mediocre and to poor standards. Overall completely disappointed, considering the cost of the room hire in addition to afternoon tea per person- expectations were not met."
"I had my baby shower here. Paid £100 per hour to rent out the cafe privately aswell as £25 per head for 26 people for afternoon teas. Received 6 stands of afternoon tea for 26 people. Like a tiny buffet. The staff were so rude and not accommodating in the slightest. They didn’t ask anyone if they wanted a drink, remove empty plates ect. And they also aloud a woman with all her bags and coat on to walk through the party for a take away coffee! After it had been rented out privately for an event. They told me a day before the event by e-mail their prices had risen £2 per person after prices had already been agreed and they emailed me on the day of the event 2 hours before to say I couldn’t come any earlier than 15 minutes to set up (decorations) after it had been agreed for weeks I would be there an hour - 40 minutes before to set up as they were closing early. The staff member wasn’t having any of it and said I must come no earlier than 15 minutes before however, I got there half an hour before, it was totally empty, 3 members of staff on and nothing to be done! All 26 people were disgusted with one of the staff members attitude. They even chased me down for 2 50p drinks added on at the end even though hot drinks were supposed to be complimentary and the cafe had earned just under £1000 in 3 hours from this party. DO NOT have a private event here! And be aware a £20 afternoon tea may be 2 sandwich fingers and a cake per person!!!"
"Customer service was very poor and prices are extremely high for what you get. The afternoon tea was £20 per person with unlimited coffee and tea. Not once did anyone come to our table and offer us a tea or coffee you had to go up to the desk and ask. Wouldn’t go again."
"I quite like White Rabbit. Their service has been lovely every time I've gone. Their tea and cake are good. Great scones. Good food options although not a lot of options. I like their atmosphere and they sell a few extra goodies which I like. Coffee is not great but I guess it is a tea house so can I blame them?"
