"Good shop but not impressed by the fruit and veg, not as fresh as it used to be. Some of the breads are beautiful. Friendly staff"
"Absolutely livid! Parking Penalty Notice!!!! Went to do Christmas food shop here and parked in the Lidl car park, and was 1hr 41 mins in Lidl shopping and queuing. Fuming therefore a week later to have received a parking fine from a private parking firm that claims to own Lidl car park, for being 11 mins outside of the apparent max stay of just 1hr 30 mins there!!!! I hadn't even thought to look to see if there was a parking limit for shopping in Lidl in their own car park!!! (Surely its in Lidl's interest for people to spend more time and money at their store!?) Tried to call Lidl, today, on the contact number that appears on Google, and it doesnt work!! Disgusting!!! Wont be shopping there again in a hurry!!"
"Saturday afternoon during Christmas period and it is dead quiet. I wonder why? Pallets full of stock blocking every isle so you can’t look at anything and shelves are empty! Is this just the Finchfield store or is it Lidl in general. We gave up and went to Aldi where there was plenty of stock, wide isles and friendly staff. Good bye Lidl!"
"The standards of this store have completed slipped within the last year. Either a change in the management structure or other adverse problems have caused this store to go down hill. - The store is always messy - They always seem to be putting stock out which you can trip over. - The queues have gotten either long, they are either pressed for staff or need to look at recruiting more. - The customers that visit who are probably the ones that have recently moved into the area from the other side of town, Parkfields, Goldthorn Park, Pennfields all seemed to have bought those attitudes and behaviours to this area/store. This store used to be a good place to shop, now you may as-well call it mini Alum Rock. I no longer shop here"
"Incredibly messy store. The staff working there stacking shelves were blocking everyone from walking past them whilst they stacked shelves and didn't even acknowledge or give space for people to walk past. There was also large stockpiles blocking access to items (as seen in the image). The staff at the tills were clueless. I heard one woman - "amandeep" ask the woman on my till about the policy about how much water can be sold with the covid policy & the woman on my till said "I think" quite a lot - basically neither of them had a clue! They made up their own policies. Absolute joke."
