"This is a privately owned pool intended primarily for teaching children to swim. Adults are welcome , however. Membership is required but is inexpensive. In the school holidays expect to swim in child- infested waters! The temperature is kept very warm, almost like a bath, and the pool is mostly shallow, with a steeply shelved deep end...beware!! Because it is so warm, and accessed by shallow steps it is ideal for less able people, or those recovering from accidents. THERE IS NO LIFEGUARD, however, so best to take support with you if necessary. Communal changing with lockable "rooms". Toilet and disabled toilet and changing room with shower and baby changing. Parking, including disabled. Timetable allows for a variety of abilities. Absolutely lovely cafe .....Cafe Nouveau....right next door . All set in beautiful scenery with a children's play area and dog walks . Why have I told you about it? I should have kept it a secret!!!!!"
