"Bought some costume jewellery and a fab top. Really recommend"
"I've had a nightmare with ordering online with anthropology. Ordered a full set of dinnerware, plates, side plates, bowls, tumblers and glasses.. 2 bowls and a side plate arrived broken, which happens, but they also forgot part of the order which was then out of stock. I ordered different side plates and different bowls to make a set from mixing collections which wasn't ideal but would work. After waiting on the backorder i got an email saying the plates were on the way but unfortunately the bowls were not being sent as they were out of stock now too! I also ordered a salt and pepper shaker and just got 2 peppers, total disaster.I wont be ordering again. Just spent a fortune on a random collection of dinnerware thats not even complete."
"This shop offers ladies clothes, jewellery, accessories and home ware. It has a large selection of candles and candle holders as well as very nice kitchen ware - a great place for gift shopping if you are looking for something a little bit different."
"ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. RUDE UNHELPFUL STAFF. I will never shop in Anthropologie Belfast again. I ordered a dress online. There was a £20 discount. I was sent the wrong size in error. The docket in the packet said exchanges possible in store. I made a trip into town the same day I received the package and picked up the correct size and took the dress to the till. The assistant told me I had to return the incorrect dress (by Royal Mail) and buy the dress again (at full price!!). Please remember Anthropologie made the mistake of sending me the wrong dress in the first place. I pointed out that other shops such as M&S would do a straight exchange for an item and honour the original discount. The manager Paul said “well we’re not Marks and Spencer” in the most sarcastic patronising way. No I know you’re not. M&S have pleasant staff and excellent customer service. Anthropologie has condescending staff, who don’t know how to say sorry for the inconvenience you have been caused and then think it is fine to charge extra for their appalling service. I left the shop in tears... With the wrong sized dress when they had the correct sized dress in the shop and it would have cost them nothing to swap the size. In fact to add insult to injury I was told I was being rude and had raised my voice when I dared to express how upset and frustrated I was. I don’t know if I raised my voice because they upset me but I certainly did not shout or swear. Clearly Customers are not allowed to complain about appalling service. The staff are fake and friendly until they get a purchase then they are done with being pleasant. As I was leaving the shop one of them then said ‘Have a nice day!’ Seriously! That’s how false they are.. They’d ruined my day. Although some Anthropologie products look cute they are vastly over priced. The quality is just not there for the price and I am sorry I ever shopped there. I will never do so again. Avoca is across the road and I’d recommend going there instead . There are too many other shops with shop assistants who are pleasant and helpful."
"I love Anthropology. They have a great selection of clothes, candles and homewear. I usually buy online but it's great to have a local shop. Staff are friendly. Thank you Anthropologie for coming to Belfast!"
