Reviews
"Fantastic meal, great staff, order at bar, good value. Fish and chips as they should be crispy batter real cod. Everything cooked to perfection."
"Had a lovely afternoon tea here. Good selection of sandwich and wrap fillings and cakes. Amazing value."
"Had lunch recently lovely food especially the vegan tart in beetroot pastry which was fabulous. Really nice lady working very hard in the restaurant although when we arrived the man standing behind the bar didn't acknowledge us which wasn't very welcoming other than that it was great."
"Iv had 3 lovely Sunday lunches here now. Food is lovely, great size portions, chef even comes out of the kitchen with extra roast potatoes and Yorkshire puddings. Lovely atmosphere, traditional interior. New bar staff are lovely and friendly. I Would recommend."
"Good selection of beer and wine and a nice atmosphere. Didn't try the food, but eaten there before and it was nice. Edit: Ate a couple of meals there around Christmas and the food was good, reasonably priced and there wasn't much of a wait for it. I did eat there a couple of times during lock down and they are taking nice Corona precautions. However I just ate the 8oz rump steak and it was OK but a bit too well done for medium rare. Will ask for rare next time. Visited again and had a lovely rare steak, they are certainly serving some good food at the moment. Upping the star rating to 5/5."
