Reviews
"The staff were so friendly, perfect timing between courses. Lovely wine and tremendous food. We will definitely be back, and highly recommend this place."
"A very highly rated place and for good reason judging by our visit. We were fortunate to celebrate our 25th wedding anniversary here. If it hadn't had fell on a midweek day then I feel we wouldn't have got in. It's an unpretentious dining room and the atmosphere was very relaxed. The menu is a bit limited and any fussy eater like me may want to phone ahead to check what's on offer. We had fillet steaks and they were excellent, together with a nice selection of vegetables. Note these are included in the price and they can do a bit of "mix and match" across the menu. The desserts were simply sublime. Despite its popularity and reputation we thought the prices are very competitive even compared to lesser establishments. It's a small bar but we were happy. The service from our friendly and attentive waitress was exemplary."
"As everyone says, fantastic food, warmest greeting and treatment from staff who'd obviously love being there. Book well in advance! This is the kind of establishment where they do one sitting per table per night. 22 covers, so 22 meals served per night. Many dishes are Austrian, then Austrian chef is also the owner and wonderfully charismatic. The food is not shy in flavours. Even the snapse at the end is home made. We'll be returning."
