"Table for two at 8 on a Friday. As we arrived we were welcomed with smiles by the waiter and the chef and offered a choice of two tables. An offer to take our coats was made and we were given the menu. Drinks arrived and a bruscetta starter (bread drizzled with olive oil, crushed garlic and the sweetest halved cherry tomatoes) and a bowl of olives were just the required elements of an enjoyable relaxed evening amongst people who similarly reflected the hard work and friendliness put in by the owners and staff. Pizza clearly hand made, soft, brilliantly prepared and very tasty was great. This was an evening to be enjoyed and appreciated. I advise booking as it's not the biggest place, to avoid disappointment. This is on my favourites list. Any age, any time, just great"
"Brilliant , the restaurant was lovely, staff we helpful and were just right not too much but just right, highly recommend the food absolutely Excellent. The special were fantastic."
"Wonderful food. Lovely people. Waited 90 minutes for food and over an hour for the cocktail ordered when we arrived. Update, they don't take cards, so either cash or bank transfer (which they offered internet access through the owners phone with no security!) Won't be returning!"
"Friendly staff, although service was slow because the restaurant was evidently overbooked. Starters were generous and tasty; stone baked pizzas were really, really good (with leftovers boxed up on request) and nothing was over-priced. Wine choices were limited, however you can take your own bottle (there is a basic corkage charge), which makes a visit to this great Italian restaurant even better value for money! Would definitely visit again."
