"What a fabulous place! We booked the rooms for two nights for my son's Navy passing out parade, and the occasion was really enhanced by being able to gather family & friends together to eat in such a lovely place. The staff couldn't have been more obliging and flexible, there was a small menu of things which were all done well and had options for everyone (we had a vegetarian and a vegan, plus I normally travel with a coeliac), and the atmosphere was busy but intimate. Thank you so much for being such great hosts - it was really appreciated. The only caveat I would give is that the rooms are above the bar and they sometimes have bands on. If you were wanting a quiet evening after a long journey, you might want to avoid those evenings for a stay. We weren't disturbed at all."
