"If you wanna ruin your dinner night or you just want to eat highly cross contaminated burgers go for it. The service was absolutely terrible. There was a mid aged lady who was constantly saying that we had to pay for the food as soon as we ordered it as if we were going to run away without paying it. Being reminded about paying the food so many times didnt make us happy at all. When the food arrived we have realised why they were so desperate about paying the food before it arrives. The food was absolutely terrible, the burger buns were cold, and from the chips you could smell how old was the oil they fried in. The cheese on the burger wasnt even melt it was solid cold cheddar. The onion rings were all clumped to one piece and it was swimming in the plate full of oil. When I was going to the toilet I saw the kitchen on my right which made question why I wasnt out of that place still. The kitchen was so messy and there were sauces lettuces and meat. The toilets were kot clean as well but its nothing compared to the kitchen."
"Brilliant food and reasonable prices. Staff were always very welcoming (visited twice during our trip) and made our dog feel at home! We heard that the place is now under new management, so bear this in mind if you read bad reviews that are from some time ago! P.S. Sunday carvery was amazing!"
"AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!! Staying at the site and figured we would eat here a few nights.. Wow what a terrible place and they don't serve on plates!!! . They had run out of rice two days running and their attempts at a burger consisted of mince meat fused together.. Thier Thai curry was made of sauce, cheap chicken and chips!!!! Probably the worse food I've every seen served up to me. We got a refund and sent it back. We will NEVER return!!!"
"The Christmas fayre was good! Expected a a little more, but as it was raining I guess everything was crammed inside. Had a wonder around with doggo(Meg), stopped to have some lunch, witch is always amazing there. After a couple drinks took a drive back to Plymouth to relax in front of the TV with a couple of beers and a full belly!"
