"This shop is way too big for me, built over 2 floors and it's just huge. You could get lost and spend a lot of money in here. If you're doing an online buy from these and a return to store and it's from a third party, they won't deal with your return, they'll send you to the other business i.e.. brought trainers for my little boy from house of Fraser online but they sent me to sports direct for a return.. who knew!? I think I'll just stick to buying from the third party businesses any way, a lot cheaper and saves a lot of hassle.. this shop isn't for me unfortunately"
"We tried to buy a photo frame for a wedding gift today, the assistant barely spoke when we asked for help to buy. She radioed her manager and didn’t communicate with us what was happening. She then gave us the photo frame and said sorry there’s no box and told us where to pay. She gave us the photo frame from the shelf and didn’t even try to get us a new one. She seemed overwhelmed by having to do a simple task and was completely disinterested. We left the shop without buying anything in the end."
"I popped into frasers for some Xmas shopping but had no idea on what I wanted to get as presents. I went to the Mac team for some suggestions and they were the best! I spoke to jaya in the department and she spent time asking questions to gather information for the best gift based on everything, she was amazing and I left as a happy customer and with the perfect gift."
"Rude and intimidating security man that made my fiancé have a panic attack in the shop. My fiancé was looking for a new foundation, we found some sale items. We opened the boxes to look at the colour and noticed that had already been used as there was dry foundation in the pump. The security came over to us and said 'You cannot open them, they unsellable now' in an agressive tone.To which we explained that they had already been opened. He called over the floor manager and my fiancé had to prove with a random bottle that they had already been used/opened. The security's attitude was unbelievable with the response. My fiancé had to tell the floor manager she suffers with social anxiety and panic attacks, this situation was blown out of proportion which caused her to have a panic attack in the shop to the point I had to carry her to the car. The same security man followed and intimidated her 4 months ago...her review is on this thread. A formal complaint has been sent to HR."
"Shocking customer service at MAC counter today!!!! I arrived at 16:55pm they were 2 people chatting at the counter, I waited patiently for them to finish their giggling and asked for assistance in choosing the right shade of foundation for my skin tone which would’ve taken no more than 10minutes on which I was told she is finishing in 5 minutes and cannot help me to come on a different day. I said ok no problem and went to a different counter after that on my way out at 17:15 she was still there giggling with her colleague! Disgrace! I thought much better of MAC. You should train and observe your staff better! Awful experience."
