"I have been dining in Deane and Decano for years now and it is one of my favourite restaurants in Belfast. It offers sublimely prepared great food in a cool and upbeat environment. My latest trip was Tuesday 7th February when my Wife and I went to dine before the cinema. The staff are always friendly, helpful and fade in and out with ease. I had a wonderful beatroot and goats cheese salad to start: it was superb: a well thought out symphony of textures, tastes and colours. Fresh ingredients brought to life with a deceptively sophisticated level of culinary thought. Although not usually on the menu, I saw the double cheeseburger as a special and I had to try it. I was intrigued as nothing is ever placed on the menu as a filler. Every dish I have consumed there holds some culinary secret. Every dish has a secret nod to people who know good food. I was not disappointed: I am not exaggerating when I say this was the best cheeseburger that I have ever tasted. It was a masterclass in texture and flavour: igniting and balancing taste buds perfectly. I had until this particular cheeseburger been unaware that a cheeseburger could make you taste, feel and experience such a pallet of delights. Deane and Decano is a must see in Belfast."
