"A beautiful Korean restaurant in Beeston that needs some improvement with food, service and payment method. It’s a really comfortable, beautiful place right at the corner of the street. Comes with a peaceful atmosphere, clean restaurant, hygienic kitchen and a nice toilet. It’s almost a full-house when I went there, so I had high expectation for the food, but I’m somewhat disappointed with it. I ordered a hot ginseng tea, a beef tartare and a chicken ginseng soup with stuffed rice in it. To my surprise, it didn’t taste anything like ginseng for the ginseng tea, the beef tartare came almost half oxidised without julienne of pears (just slices of pears) as compared to the picture shown, and a very disappointing ginseng chicken without any ginseng to be seen in the chicken or the soup (have to say the chicken is cooked to perfection still). Love the waiter’s attitude as compared to, I think it’s the manager or owner of the restaurant. Maybe it’s one of those days where you get an unhappy manager; still, I felt rather uncomfortable about it, and it doesn’t help with the disappointing food. As for the payment, it’s cash only, which is surprising to me since we are at “post” pandemic stage now, pretty sure restaurants have card/contactless machines for payment. You can find an ATM at the post office, just a few steps away from the restaurant, but sometimes the ATM doesn’t work, so you have to travel further down High Road to get a Santander ATM. Won’t comment as of why it’s only cash payment, but you probably know what I mean. I have to give it a 2 stars for now. Will probably come back to give it another try for BBQ and other items in the menu."
"An okay experience, but very expensive for what you get. We ordered the japchae which was very nice. You have to pay extra for a hot stone bowl for the bibimbap, and chose beef variant and mince beef was served which is disappointing. Galbi meat for the bbq was nicely marinated."
"Some of my favourite Korean food I've had. I would says which was my favourite but I honestly can't decide, especially the jajangmyeon surprised me because I'm not normally the biggest fan. Not the cheapest but definitely worth the price."
"Honestly my favourite restaurant to go to. The food is very high quality and delicious, me and my family come here every 2-3 weeks and it’s always great for all of us. Strongly recommend it. Friendly and nice staff as well"
"Amazing little place with friendly helpful staff and the foods out of this world! We recommend the set BBQ options as shown in the pictures as well as adding some extra options to have a cracking meal with a loved one or a large family. If you're after something to drink go for the Soju (different flavour options available as we had blueberry). If you've never had Korean what are you waiting for!? Book a table today at Korea House!"
