"Decent pint there. Seemed like a busy day in there when entering we were told that was a couple of tables left. First time going on for a mixed grill at Jacks Bar. Not the best grill I had tasted a little bland to what i expected looking at the photo to actually tasting. Naan bread was more crispy then soft. May go back to try something else. Would generally rate it 4/10 for food on the day."

"First off I went into this establishment thinking it was a restaurant as I had to wait at the door ... then I sat down and looked around and felt like I was at a pub with the pool table and people queueing for drinks ... then I thought it was a cafe because a lady came up to us to tell us we had to order at the till? I was honestly quite confused and then I looked at the menu and go even more confused as to what this place is or wants to be. Indian cafe, with American bar vibe that wants to be a restaurant? We ordered the food and the waitress gave us wrong food. She then appeared to give the food that waited with us for awhile to the right people who looked to refuse it. I was pretty sure they came back and gave the same food as it seemed microwaved from the intense steam coming from it. Non microwaved food never gives off as much steam ... We did also wait ages for other food but bean burger came super fast. The food also came with no sauces and no chips with burger and had to order them seperate? The curry was nice ... Prices were stupid for the quality and quantity. Chicken burger was not like the picture on the menu and felt more like a cheap kebab house burger. Tikka wrap tasted like a wet sock smells ..."

"I love paronthe and this place has been on the radar for a while so I headed down today to check it out. Service was excellent from start to finish. The methi-mooli parontha and desi tea were awesome my only suggestion is add more filling especially on the mooli ones otherwise an excellent find. Also a big thanks to the very helpful server/waitress Sharan."

"Attend here often for an English breakfast which always goes down a treat.. today I had one if the Indian day options.. the mutter paneer and taak daal.. with roti... they were both great... could have done with a bit more paneer but that's just me I love me some paneer... otherwise tasty and flavoursome. Clean environment, clean toilet.. I have never said this about a public toilet but it smelt amazing.. looll... service is also great .. polite staff"
