"We booked with Azure for our summer 2020 holiday, after a experiencing one of their properties a family member has booked for a few years. I think we will all look back on 2020 and remember the companies and brands who tried their best to look after customers and clients in what can only be remarked as unusual and unbelievable times. "DO NOT BOOK WITH AZURE HOLIDAYS Regarding Villa AH2311 situated in Port Pollenca on Majorca: We booked a "luxurious" villa through Azure Holidays from July 14th to 21st 2018. We had planned this trip a year in advance, assembling a family reunion from all over the world. The rental cost for the villa was £10,386 for the week and, frankly, the villa did not meet our expectations. Prior to our arrival at the villa, we had paid a deposit to Azure to rent baby equipment (cots, travel seats etc). A representative from Azure later advised that an independent company would better meet our needs and would therefore refund our deposit. We eventually received our deposit after 3 phone calls, 2 emails over a 3 months period. On arrival to the villa (Saturday July 14th), the owner of the villa was present, along with manager of the property, checked us in and made a point to personally hand us his business card, asking us to refer friends, and to contact him if there were any issues that arose during our stay and the response from the management company was unsatisfactory . We immediately noted that house was not adequately cleaned with garbage under some of the beds and on the main balcony. Air conditioning was not working in 3 of the bedrooms. There was also grafitti on a wall next to the outdoor pool-house. We contacted the management company (the owner was not contactable despite several attempts during the entire holiday) of the villa immediately to fix the air conditioning who informed us that the electrician does not work weekends. It was 32 degrees celsius at night. The manager arrived late on Saturday night, with a terrible attitude, stating "in my opinion it is not very warm and you can just leave the windows open". It was a circuit breaker issue and he was able to resolve 2 of the A/C units however one bedroom remained without a functioning A/C. He informed us that he would be back on Monday to fix the remaining unit..However it was not "fixed"..until halfway through our holiday (Wednesday). The A/C unit leaked water everyday onto the floor which was hazardous for those sleeping in the bedroom. On more than one occasion when the electrician visited the property, he left the security gate open leaving direct access from the main road to the pool, the house and where our small children were playing. Despite the numerous disappointing aforementioned issues, the final straw came when the property representative arrived to complete the check out. Our party were immediately summoned to the pool area, the manager began pointing out the graffiti and accused our party of defacing the property. The eldest infant in our party was 2 years old and was not tall enough to reach the graffiti and furthermore would not have had the coordination to carry out such an illustration. When we pointed these facts out, he became extremely aggressive, branding one of our party a liar repeatedly. Incredibly unprofessional. We left our vacation feeling frustrated, disappointed and, ultimately, feeling robbed of our luxury holiday experience that we worked so hard to plan. When we returned from our "holiday" we contacted Azure to detail our experience and were told by Azure that they were "appalled" to hear of the treatment we received and would furnish us with a full explanation from both the owner and the management team. We were assured that action would be taken. We did not receive an update nor was there any action taken. We have stayed in luxury villas all over the world and have never been subjected to such treatment nor have we had such poor follow up from a travel agency such as Azure Holidays. Our advice- DO NOT BOOK WITH AZURE HOLIDAYS"
