"A lovely open park with lots of routes to take and just get lost in, you'll always find your way back to the exit. I especially love going through the woods and seeing all the dens that were built over time. Great for imaginary play! Also the beautiful parakeets that visited by the cafe was a lovely surprise for us."
"One of those parks you walk on the edge of to get a true scale of. Look out for the horse riders and the spectacular Japanese Water Garden nearby. It's good to come on a lovely Summer's evening and take in the views or even the Autumn to see the gorgeous sea of orange and brown."
"Lovely park for hot summary days or morning running. This park is huge with lots of trees or grass."
"This has been my favourite park since a young age and I will never get tired of long walks here. Each season brings its own beauty here but my absolute favourite is autumn! Very dog friendly park and great walking paths, it can get muddy on days it’s rained but it’s worth it. I can’t recommend this park enough, it is truly paradise for me."
"Great park if you are looking for a longer quieter walk. Plenty of runners, dog walkers and horse riders, all seeming very considerate. Parking is also available if you have to drive to get there. Please keep in mind that the Cockfosters entrance will be a bit busier than other entrances to the park."
