"Very pretty. Nice walk"
"A beautiful place to have a beautiful walk on a nice day"
"Great local little underrated Park which from my point of view is wonderful as it is in a semi wild state. Somewhat overgrown although tarmac paths go through out along the River Crane. Lots of local history here as it was originally part of the Gunpowder Mills back in the 1800s. I understand that the the Gunpowder supplied for the the Guy Fawkes to blow up Parliament in the 1600s came from here. An interesting building in the centre of the park which was originally apparently a shot Tower to produce lead shot. You cannot miss it as you walk along the River being approximately does he meet his tool all in a conical tapered shape. Interesting for a walk along the River here. Occasionally if you're lucky enough you can see a kingfisher flying along at high speed, normally just a flash of blue iridescent blue. There are water voles in the area. Great for a summer's walk perhaps allow 1 to 2 hours."
