"Best shop in Gravesend! This shop displays a great variety of objects to purchase, including unique gifts, decorative cards, interesting jigsaw puzzles, and a great number of artist materials which is where I buy all my art supplies from. The staff here are very friendly and always happy to help. Also, the framing here is fantastic and gives pictures the finishing touches making them stand out. I highly recommend this shop to anyone and everyone!"
"Don't get me wrong, this is a great shop with quirky items, bargains and is very traditional, reminding me of the art shops when I was a child. Good ideas for gifts. However, on several visits this year, I have found customer service to be lacking and in last week's visit, non existent. I stood at the picture framing desk for some time and was ignored and eventually came away without the pictures being left for framing. The staff were more interested in carrying on their own conversations than helping/advising/conversing with customers and have little interest in you as a customer. Even as I paid for quite a lot of goods last week at the till, I was not really greeted or shown any manners (eg please/thankyou) and it was clear I was a disturbance to the two members of staff whose personal conversation carried on as I went up to pay. Sometimes when I've gone in my with kids who want art supplies, we are followed around with eyes as though we are shoplifters. You shouldn't judge kids as though you're assuming they want to steal. Sadly, don't think I will be returning again after last week. Would be nice to get the sort of customer service that others have commented on as getting. For me, it's been several times now and so unlikely to return."
"Munns is a nice shop to buy Art and crafts products. Also they have good quality special occasions presents to buy. And a good selection of birthday cards. And special occasion cards. Good quality children toys."
"Beautiful shop that reverbs of times past. I love to have a nice browse especially at the art section. Unlike a lot of High Street big names, there is alway someone in Munns to give good advice on the products they sell. Like most people, I do buy online however, Munns is a great retail experience."
