"I went in today with my two friends, browsing but also willing to buy if we found something. No staff member came up to us once and there was plenty standing around. We got given dirty looks, yes we are 18 however how young we look does not determine what service we get. I love Tiffany’s, I bought myself some jewellery not that long ago in New York however the way we were treat was unprofessional and I won’t be purchasing anything from that store."
"I was in yesterday evening to collect a repair and the woman that served me (can’t remember her name, but she had dark hair) was incredibly rude and kept looking me up and down. I’ve never left so uncomfortable in my life, as a woman of color I’m usually used to this kind of behaviour, but this experience was definitely on another level."
"I walked into the Tiffany stand/store inside Selfridges on Oxford Street in London, on Saturday 9 July 2022, early afternoon. I brought my wife's very expensive Tiffany necklace and pendant bought long ago. I just needed them to clean them. I asked one member of staff who couldn't be bothered to speak to me because I wasn't about to buy something new, and redirected me to another member of staff. I spoke to the second member of staff who told me to come back on a weekday between 10am and 5pm because they don't clean stuff on weekends. She did mention it took only 5 minutes to clean but nobody could be bothered to clean on weekends. Only 5 minutes, yet she refused to help me, jus for even 5 minutes... Says it all really, about the people who work there... The Tiffany stand was not even that busy. Disgraceful customer service, my family will never buy anything from them ever again."
"Awful customer service! Ella had a terrible attitude while serving us and was very rude. Seriously not impressed. You expect much more from such a big brand. We were first approached by a host, he took us to the collection we wanted to check and when we said we wanted to browse left us to speak for a few minutes, when we asked for help as we didn't see what we wanted he just made fun of us saying that we pushed him away before he could explain anything. When we then asked for the item we wanted, he was clearly under the impression that the necklace was available, Ella then came and told us they were not producing it anymore. So on top of the host being rude, he has not knowledgeable. Go to another Tiffany & Co. as this one is definitely not worth it."
"Not at Selfridges. The Covent Garden location. It was nice. I bought a $1,670 gold ring. I got confused re: the conversion rate & the VAT % return. The sales gal was nice. I love my new ring. I think it ended up being around $80 less in total to buy my ring at their London store instead of in San Francisco: I think. I've been wearing my new Tiffany T Square ring since July, but the shop gal told me to buy 1 that was too big. Granted, I agreed at the time, & she did her best, BUT it's too big is what the Tiffany shop guy told me in San Francisco. The reason is this: the T keeps catching on EVERYTHING! So it's scratching & digging into my finger's skin & causing bleeding cuts & now scars! This ring is killing me, & it cost $1,670!!! I am upset as anyone can imagine! My ring finger is scared. Who wants a scared finger? I have not worn the ring in 3 months due to the trauma of the cuts, bleeding, & scaring. My experience was at the Tiffany store in Covent Garden. My finger swells up from time to time. At times it seems like the right size. Other times it's too loose. I guess the square T was just not a good choice for a finger that at times is swollen & at times is not. I am wearing it again, because I paid $$ for it. I did get around 5 compliments for the ring since I bought it. That is reassuring. I wore it again on my trip now to Zurich ,& I caught it on a seat on the Swiss Air plane. My finger is cut again. It looks bad. Bottom. line: I advise against buying the Square T ring due to the sharp angled edges & them catching on everything & then cutting my finger repeatedly. Oh well. August, 2019: I went to the Tiffany & Co. in Westfield mall, in downtown San Francisco. The manager let me exchange my horrible cutting Tiffany T Square ring for a ring that did not cut my finger! I was so grateful! I love my new Tiffany T Wide ring! & now I'm not upset or bitter, but I advise to be careful. My Tiffany T Square ring cut my 2 ring fingers probably 40 times (& left lasting scars), & i have the gruesome photos to prove the cuts, blood, & lasting scars. I spoke with many Tiffany & Co. workers all throughout my travels. No 1 said anyone else had ripped cut skin like me, from the ring. I cannot say if it was too big (some said so) for my finger. All I can say is, be wary of the Tiffany T Square ring. I was/am so grateful for Tiffany & Co. making my situation better by replacing my T Square ring that I plan to buy 2 more rings for myself at the San Francisco Westfield mall downtown location from Joselyn Li. 1 for my birthday & 1 for Christmas. My faith in Tiffany & Co. is restored. Thank you San Francisco Tiffany & Co. I am posting this here for the London shop's reviewers. The Tiffany T Square ring is beautiful, but I had to exchange it. So far, I am finding in my many travels throughout the world that it's best to buy luxury items in the countries where the companies are headquartered in order to get the lowest price, due to import duty tax. Tiffany & Co. items do cost more outside of the United States, & I was told it is due to import duty tax that is passed on to the customer. Live & learn & then spend wisely."
