"Seeing some of the reviews for Dwr Cymru / Welsh Water it saddens me. First of all everyone that I have encountered has been brilliant and work their socks off to help its customers. Yes some people may have complaints but someone suggesting that a "Not for Profit" company should not make a profit is laughable. Profits are used to pay bonuses where employees perform to strict performance guidelines, if they don't they lose the bonus. Then remaining profits are used in areas that customers suggest. Environment, less flooding, cleaner water, lower bills for less well of etc etc. In other words a very good company doing it best but still some improvements to be made."
"I moved into a one bed flat on my own. I was being charged £50 a month for my water per month despite all my neighbours paying £27 on the same land and builds (the average price per month), and nothing could be done to change it. I spoke to several people to try and get this corrected all which refused to help, and were rude. The bill for this company was originated in 1990 and has not changed since which is no longer appropriate for several properties, however refuse to change because they make profit of this despite claiming to be a non profit company. Shame on this company."
