There was no pressure to buy at all I did purchase a ring which was altered fo r me , whilst my husband was given a tour of the workshop a wonderful shopping experience , and will definitely be back to buy the Boodles ring at some point...it was beautiful as is my new eternity diamond band ..thank you"

"I have used 50 Henley Street on two occasions. A few years ago the band on my engagement ring was going very thin. A friend recommended I went to 50 Henley Street. They replaced the band and cleaned the stone for a very reasonable price. I was very pleased with the outcome. Recently I took some of my mothers jewellery, that had been locked away for many years, into the shop to see what my options were. The staff spent time advising me on how I could have some of the bracelets restored, which items they could buy from me and where I could take the items they didn’t deal with. As a result I now have four lovely bracelets that have been cleaned and altered so I can wear them. I was also pleased with the value I received for the remaining gold and silver items. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend 50 Henley Street not only because of their knowledge and jewellery skills but also due to how helpful and thoughtful they all were. Thank you ."

"For many years I have been searching for a very specific ring, similar to one promised to me by my Grandma when I was a child. Sadly when my father remarried all my Grandma’s jewellery was taken and I never saw my ring again. My husband and I visited Stratford upon Avon a few weeks ago and continued my search. We came across a very similar ring in 50 Henley St and the minute I put it on I was brought to tears. Margaret and Jo in the shop couldn’t have been kinder and more welcoming, completely understanding my emotional response and even giving us a bottle of champagne to celebrate finally finding my precious ring . Although it was a close representation to the ring I remembered the original was set in yellow gold whilst the one I tried was platinum. But 50 Henley St had the ring almost remade to fit my very particular specifications, making new mounts to fit with my wedding band and resizing it to fit me perfectly. After just a few weeks Margaret called to say my ring was ready and we called this weekend to collect it. It is truly beautiful and I finally feel I have my own tribute to my beloved Grandma and the precious childhood memories we shared. I cannot thank or recommend 50 Henley St highly enough.
