"Amanda looked after our two cats Timmy and Lara for us in our own home whilst we were on holiday for 10 days. From the initial contact, Amanda was friendly and informative. We could tell we had picked the perfect person the instant she walked into our home and both cats immediately went up to her for strokes and attention! Definitely a “Cat Whisperer” !! "Usually we would get family members to look after our cat while we're away, but for the first time since we got our little boy it wasn't possible, so I got in touch with Amanda. She responded immediately and I was happy to hear she wanted to come to our house to meet our cat and talk about everything in person. Our boy took an immediate liking to Amanda, she is so calm and gentle. She took notes of everything we discussed which was really reassuring. Things such as feeding instructions and what our cat likes and dislikes. Once we left for our holiday everything went absolutely smoothly. Amanda sent us regular updates, including photos and videos, which was fantastic. We could see our cat loved her company and it really put our minds at ease knowing he was in such good hands. Amanda was always quick to respond to messages and we came back home to a happy and relaxed little boy. Her prices are also more than reasonable but most importantly she is really great with cats, our little boy loved her."

"Having 4 cats (3 rescue) some of whom are quite nervous is a nightmare when it comes to going on holiday or away for a weekend. Previously we have used catteries but they come back very subdued and a bag of nerves. So when a cat sitter was suggested I thought what did we have to lose. I searched around and came across The Cats Whiskers and Amanda. I emailed and we arranged for her to come and meet our boys. She was great when she came round, very reassuring and made loads of notes on the boys and what they liked. They all instantly took to her so it was a no brainer for us and we booked her to look after them for 5 days. We (or perhaps that should be I) was very apprehensive about allowing someone else into our house but there really was no need. Amanda sent pictures and videos every day with an update of how they were and kept us well informed. When we got home the boys were much happier and relaxed than normal when they come home from a cattery and as any cat owner knows they often give you the cold shoulder for a day or two for leaving them but there was none of that. Not only that, the house had been tidied up, all cat litter trays clean, and litter ‘swept up’ by hand which Amanda and I did chuckle about. We (and our boys) would highly recommend Amanda/The Cats Whiskers and will most certainly be using her again, whether it be for a week/fortnight or even just an overnighter. Catteries are a thing of the past for us as our boys were so relaxed."
