"We came here on Saturday morning to join in the Parkrun. It's a lovely scenic route to run on a mixture of different paths. The grounds are great with lots of woodland. The parking was free for parkrun and there is a toilet block too. There's a sheep sculpture in the grounds which is pretty cool too."
"Lovely place to walk the dog or take the kids for a walk. There is a playground with toilets nearby and lots of woodland walks between both car parks. Very close to the M62 so quite noisy in some parts but plenty of open space for running around on and having picnics."
"Great place to go for an hour or so's walk. Friendly walkers and dogs. The Hall is worth a visit. Not expensive to go in. Cafes and free toilets at both car parks. Gift shop near the hall. Children's play area by bottom car park. Accessible tarmac path from the bottom to the top- bit of a climb if you are pushing a wheelchair or buggy. Plenty of places to picnic."
"Didn’t go into the house grounds as there was a wedding. The woodland walks is amazing especially with the dogs there is also a large open field so they can have a run around. It was very, very busy on a sunday lunch time and the little car park was busy! There is disabled parking available which is good and the little cafe is cute. Photo is the large field as you can see to say it was very busy the space is large so lots of space for running"
