Reviews
"Railwayman's Cottage is a very comfortable, clean cottage in a great location for exploring the Dales. We've just visited in February and despite the rain, wind and low temperatures, were very warm, cosy and had everything we needed. Great value for money and highly recommended."
"A great place to stay if you want to explore the Craven District. It's a well-equipped and cosy cottage with easy access to the major routes in the area. We spent a week here in early October, and endured quite significant rainfall, which led to the local rivers and waterfalls running at very high levels, which gave us some spectacular views. The cottage is also only about 100 yards from Hellifield Station which has regular trains running both north and south. Would definitely stay here again. Having looked at other reviews for this property, I have to say that I find it objectionable for Mr. Lee Carter to post a review here, as he is the owner of the cottage. Perhaps his view is not unprejudiced."
"Probably the worst holiday let I've ever stayed in. when you run the bath there is insufficent water to run any other taps. plus insufficient hot water to have a bath and wall paper falling of walls and even worse for suposed covid cleaning cob webs in kitchen bathroom and bedrooms . I cannot find a nice thing to say"
"Great cottage in a lovely area, lots to do and see. Cottage was warm, homely and very clean."
